Role Description

Lead Palziv’s global sales and marketing activities by developing and executing a comprehensive commercial and marketing strategy.

The role is responsible for accelerating profitable growth, developing markets and customers, increasing sales of value-added products and solutions, managing sales and customer service teams, and leading a commercial transformation from a primarily raw-material-based organization to a product-, solution-, and customer-value-driven organization.

Key Responsibility

  1. Develop and Lead the Global Sales & Marketing Strategy
  • Develop a global sales and marketing strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives.
  • Build growth plans by geographic region, market segment, customer, product, and solution.
  • Lead commercial prioritization processes based on growth potential, profitability, and strategic value.
  • Create a unified commercial language across all regions and business units.
  • Establish global work processes for measurement, control, and continuous improvement of commercial performance.
  1. Sales and Customer Service Management
  • Directly manage the sales and customer service teams in Israel, Europe, and the UK.
  • Hold strategic responsibility for sales activities in the USA and Mexico, without direct management responsibility.
  • Build sales targets, work plans, forecasts, and commercial pipelines.
  • Support managers and teams in achieving sales, service, customer retention, and growth targets.
  • Strengthen cross-functional interfaces between Sales, Customer Service, Operations, R&D, Finance, Marketing, and company management.
  • Implement standardized work processes and sales and service management tools, including CRM systems.
  1. Global Marketing and Branding Management
  • Lead Palziv’s global marketing and branding activities.
  • Define the company’s positioning in different markets as a provider of advanced products and solutions, rather than only raw materials.
  • Build consistent marketing messages tailored to markets, customers, and business areas.
  • Manage marketing budgets and a variety of marketing tools.
  • Provide marketing support for sales activities, market penetration, and product launches.
  • Strengthen the company’s business and brand presence among strategic customers, partners, and global markets.
  1. Business Development and Profitable Growth
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in existing and new markets.
  • Expand the company’s activity with strategic customers and business partners.
  • Lead penetration into new geographic and business markets.
  • Increase sales of value-added, high-margin products and solutions.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for developing new products and solutions.
  • Manage the global business development pipeline.
  1. Lead New Product and Technology Launches
  • Lead launches of new products and technologies, including EPP / EPE and PalBead.
  • Build Go-To-Market plans for new products, technologies, and solutions.
  • Connect R&D, Production, Marketing, and Sales to ensure successful commercialization of new products.
  • Define target audiences, value propositions, pricing, marketing messages, and sales channels.
  • Monitor launch success, generate insights, and drive continuous improvement.
  1. Lead Commercial and Organizational Transformation
  • Lead the transition from a raw-material-based organization to a product-, solution-, and customer-value-driven organization.
  • Embed a solution-selling approach across the organization.
  • Build global commercial capabilities, including pipeline management, forecasting, CRM, performance indicators, and management routines.
  • Strengthen collaboration between regions, subsidiaries, and business units.
  • Build a professional, unified, measurable, and results-driven global commercial organization.

  • Sales of foam materials as raw materials.
  • Sales of processed foam materials.
  • Sales of solutions, including advanced packaging solutions.
  • Sales to the construction market in Israel.
  • Sales of innovative products and solutions based on EPP / EPE.
  • Sales of innovative products for sports and leisure markets.
  • Sales of solutions for the defense and personal protection sectors.

 

Key Performance Indicators — KPIs

  • Revenue growth.
  • Improved profitability of commercial activity.
  • Penetration into new markets.
  • Growth in sales of value-added products and solutions.
  • Growth in sales of innovative products based on EPP / EPE and PalBead.
  • Improved customer satisfaction and customer retention.
  • Development and management of a global business development pipeline.
  • Successful launches of new products and technologies.
  • Implementation of sales, service, and CRM processes.
  • Improved collaboration between regions and business units.
  • Strengthened company positioning in global markets.

 

Role Requirements

  • High level of English — mandatory.
  • At least 10 years of experience in global sales management.
  • Proven experience managing sales and customer service teams.
  • Experience working in an industrial / B2B environment.
  • Experience leading organizational change processes.
  • Experience launching new products, technologies, or solutions to market.
  • Deep marketing understanding and the ability to build sales and marketing strategies.
  • Experience working with strategic customers.
  • Ability to manage complex interfaces between business units, geographic regions, and organizational functions.
  • Experience implementing and embedding sales and customer service tools, including CRM systems.
  • Experience managing marketing activities, marketing budgets, and diverse marketing tools.
  • Strong business analysis capabilities, market understanding, work-plan development, and performance tracking.
  • Leadership skills, influence, and the ability to engage stakeholders in a global, matrix organization.

A senior executive with significant experience managing global sales and marketing in an industrial B2B environment, with strong business orientation, strategic thinking, and high execution capabilities.

The ideal candidate will be able to lead profitable growth, develop markets and customers, build global commercial processes, lead teams and complex interfaces, and strengthen Palziv’s transition from a company primarily based on raw materials to a company that offers products, solutions, and added value to customers.
